Zakee Shariff is an artist and designer based in London. She set-up and ran the acclaimed Zakee Shariff clothing collection until 2005, at which point she branched out to explore different creative avenues, including a variety of collaborative projects. The result has been a wide diversity of new works within fine art and illustration, fashion and textiles, interior and product design, styling, publishing and art direction. While her output has been varied, her elegant drawings, prints, and paintings are uniquely Zakee. Whether applied to fabric, paper, canvas, clothing, wallpaper, album cover artwork or any other medium, Zakee's creations are instantly identifiable.
