Hannibal is a Copenhagen-based studio established in 2006 by Sofie Hannibal and Nan Na Hvass. The duo work on both commercial and personal projects, and have a CV that covers everything from album covers to music videos, silkscreen prints to installation. Their work sends the viewer into folkloric worlds, where dancing skeletons, living food and fantastic animals roam in intimate yet strange utopian landscapes. With roots in illustration, the pair have lately ventured into more three dimensional and conceptual projects. In 2010 they had a solo show, Losing the Plot, at the Kemistry Gallery in London as well as contributing to the group show If You Could Collaborate.
